1. Grounds of Separation: Termination, Retrenchment & Dismissal
BLA distinguishes simple termination without cause from disciplinary dismissal for misconduct, requiring strict domestic inquiries.
2. Statutory Gratuity Formula
Gratuity is payable on the last drawn basic salary rate for every completed year of service exceeding 6 months.
3. Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) Release
Both employee contribution and employer matching contribution plus accrued interest must be cleared within 30 working days.
