1. Classification: General vs Irrevocable Power of Attorney
Irrevocable powers involving property development or consideration create vested equitable rights in favor of the attorney.
2. Mandatory Registration & Stamp Duties (2026)
Fixed stamp duty and registration fees apply at the Sub-Registry office under government gazette rates.
3. NRB Consular Attestation from Overseas
Deeds executed overseas must be signed before the First Secretary / Consul, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Dhaka, and validated by the DC Treasury office.
